SPIN 4 KIDS
fundraiser benefiting Vern Patrick Community School -

After School programs at Wild Ride Brewing

We invite you to participate in the 2nd annual SPIN 4 KIDS, presented by Redmond Athletic Club, in partnership with Wild Ride Brewing.  This event will raise money for local after-school programs for kids in our community.

About the event

 

Redmond Athletic Club will be re-locating all of their Spin Bikes to the parking lot of Wild Ride Brewing for an amazing 6 hour event! SPIN 4 KIDS is unlike any other event in the area. Even for those new to exercise on a spin bike, the SPIN 4 KIDS is a great introduction to a fun exercise experience, but most importantly it is a chance to support an event that aims to leverage community support and raise awareness for the importance of safe and affordable learning experiences outside of the classroom.

  • Event is open to the public.

  • Check in 15 min prior to ride time.

  • All skills levels welcome including first time riders.

  • Ticket Prices: EARLY BIRD - $25 if registered by May 25th; $35 after May 25th

  • Deadline for T-shirts is June 5th.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • The event is a 6 hour ride with individuals committing to ride one hour, several hours, or the entire time as an individual Ultra Rider.

  • 6 Spin Instructors will keep you motivated and moving

  • 28 bikes per hour available

  • Refreshments for energy and hydration

  • Fantastic giveaways every hour

  • Entry into GRAND PRIZE DRAWING

  • All contributions may be tax deductible

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • Select a time to Ride for 1 hour or several hours

  • Ride an individual 6hr. Ultra ride - guarantee your spot for the entire

  • Be an event sponsor

  • Must register by May 25th to for early bird rate or June 5th to be guaranteed an event T-shirt.

About after-school programs:  Vern Patrick Community School is the beneficiary of this year’s event. VP Community School is a grant funded after school program, open to ALL elementary aged students in Redmond School District and homeschool programs.  Although the program operates under the RSD umbrella, it receives all of its funding from grants, donations, corporate giving, and fundraising. Vern Patrick Community School is a program whose mission is to provide quality after-school experience for students and parents as a meaningful extension of their day; offering physical nourishment, safe supervision, as well as academic and cultural enrichment.  Students participating receive a healthy snack, homework help, and access to enrichment classes such as Lego robotics, sewing, hip-hop dance, Biz Kids, Kind Kids Club, and a variety of sports. The low-cost program requests families pay only a small portion of what other after-school programs in town charge.  The belief is that every child should have the same opportunities for success, regardless of their current situation in life.
